Why I Decree it to Be So:Lucky is the band that makes a live record good enough to release to the masses. Hopewell, dear friends, is a lucky band indeed. Oh, and they also happen to have killed it every single time I've had the pleasure of seeing them live. Hopewell Live (Volume 1) is the next best thing to being there at a Hopewell gig - with the added bonus of having their colossal, swirling mass of volcanically intense and powerful sonic expeditions at your beck and call whenever the mood strikes. They're a longtime favorite here at LET, and this record only cements their status as such even further. Encore, indeed.
